A few kilometers above Borgo San Lorenzo in the direction of Passo della Colla, where the Farfereta stream flows into the Ensa giving life to a “third river”, there is a small jewel of rural archeology: a water mill prior to the year 1000. Here there is also an Oratory dedicated to the Virgin, the Monastery of the Madonna dei Tre Fiumi.
Our curious excursion, from this suggestive place, runs through centenary brown forests to climb the panoramic top of the Giuvigiana, then descends into the characteristic rural hamlet of the Pozzo, until it leads us into the magical atmosphere of the ancient mill, with the pleasant company of Roberto the miller.
